Why This Summit Matters

Since February 2025, over 300,000 Black women have exited the labor force—a staggering loss that demands urgent community action. These aren't just statistics; they represent mothers, sisters, daughters, and leaders whose talents and contributions have been systematically pushed aside.

The EmpowerHer Opportunity Summit is our collective response to this crisis. We're creating a dynamic space where Black women can reconnect with economic opportunities, build powerful networks, and access the resources they need to thrive. This isn't just about finding jobs—it's about reclaiming power, rebuilding careers, and demonstrating the irreplaceable value Black women bring to every industry.

Together, we're transforming this moment of challenge into a movement of opportunity, connection, and lasting change.We refuse to let their talent, leadership, creativity, and potential go unsupported.

Each focus area will have at least two corporate partners actively recruiting for roles within the next 90 days, ensuring real opportunities are available at the summit.

Three Ways to Participate

Opportunity Seeker

Black women actively looking for employment, business partnerships, mentorship, career advancement, or entrepreneurial support. Priority registration given to Black women in this category.

Opportunity Provider

Employers, recruiters, mentors, investors, and professionals ready to offer jobs, guidance, connections, or services to support Black women's career journeys. Some examples of roles include but are not limited to resume reviewer, LinkedIn Builder, mentor, connector, interviewer, hiring manager, investor, or business partner.

Mix of Both

Attendees who can both provide and seek opportunities—perfect for professionals in transition, entrepreneurs seeking partners while offering expertise, or those wanting to give back while growing their network.

Partner with Us

The EmpowerHer Opportunity Summit succeeds through strategic partnerships with companies and organizations committed to creating real pathways to opportunity for Black women.

We're looking for partners who are actively hiring and recruiting for roles within the next 90 days—not just offering empty promises, but genuine employment opportunities. Ideal partners include: Companies with open positions across our five focus areas (HR, Marketing, Technology, Non-Profit, Education), local meetups and tech networks like Refactr, ATL JS Meetup, 75 South Devs, Gwinnett Women's Chamber, and Metro Atlanta Chamber. We also welcome entrepreneurs currently seeking business partners who can create opportunities for others.

Partnership opportunities range from sponsoring light appetizers and beverages to providing speakers and panelists, offering raffle prizes and gift bag items, supporting media coverage and promotional efforts, or participating as recruiters and interviewers at the event.
